TEACHING SEQUENCE
SONG
Why don´t we start with a fantastic jolly phonics song? Brilliant! It is a funny and interesting way of working with sounds. It always involve total physical response!!
POSTERS
We are ging to show them the song lyrics with some pictures about the sound we are working with. Do not forget to do it visual so that they can feel the language theirs, not just something theoretical.
ACTIVITIES
Now its time to reinforce the sound with some activities. Scaffold them, do it yourselve at the beggining so that at the end you are just supporting their job. This is going to be really nice to see!!!
WRITING
Time to write! This is going to be the last step. Do not run, better late than never. They have to feel confident with the sound before starting writing it.
