Working with young learners.

Before getting started with the “Classroom Language Jourmal”. We should consider the following aspects about working in class with young and very young learners in L2.

Working in class with young and very young learners

English should be the main language used in class but we cannot force children; in other words, we can let our students sepak their mother tongue to comunicate.

Recast in english everything children say in their mother tongue.

- Support your explanations with your mother tongue so that you can make shure your students have understood what they must do.

-Repeat structures everyday so that they become something familiar for our pupils. “Good morning”, “let´s check the attendance”...
